Master of Science in Bioengineering

The Master of Science in Bioengineering program is designed to synergistically pair advanced coursework in both biological sciences and engineering to prepare students for the evolving bioengineering needs both in research and industry.

The comprehensive graduate curriculum offers extensive coursework in quotative physiology and advanced mathematics as well as advanced interdisciplinary courses in such key areas of bioengineering as biomedical imaging and signal processing, bioinformatics, and genome, molecular and tissue engineering. The Master of Science in Bioengineering graduates have diverse career opportunities in biotechnology, healthcare and biomedical.

The program provides two specialized tracks:

  • Professional Track: Focuses on practical applications and industry-ready skills, preparing students for advanced roles in the workforce.
  • Research Track: Emphasizes research methodologies and prepares students for academic or research-oriented careers.
